What is the Kiosk & Time Tracking system?
Jigsol Time is a dedicated Android tablet app for employee clock-in/clock-out. It features AI-powered face recognition using MobileFaceNet, PIN fallback, break tracking, and an offline-first architecture so it works even without internet. In personal mode, it supports GPS geofencing for field workers. The kiosk mode includes a screensaver, active staff board, rota viewer, and over-the-air updates.
How does the Tronc / Service Charge module work?
The tronc module fairly distributes tips and service charges to staff based on hours worked multiplied by job title points. You configure department allocations and job title weightings, then the system automatically calculates each person's share. It supports both tronc-managed (troncmaster, no employer NI) and employer-managed tax treatment, with a full draft-to-paid approval workflow.
Can I integrate with my existing accounting and payroll software?
Yes. We have deep bidirectional sync with Xero (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, invoices, contacts, bank transactions) and direct integration with Sage Payroll (employee sync, payslip generation, pay element posting).
